The SPECIAL M81 bandsaw has a wide range of applications – it cuts hard-to-cut alloys, including nickel, titanium and hardened steels. High-precision tooth setting for consistent cut quality and excellent roughness; different tooth heights to reduce friction forces in the cutting zone, positive tooth pitch of +18 degrees. M81 blade is made of high quality high-speed steel by powder metallurgy, by increasing the number of carbides and their more even distribution. Hardness (up to 69-70 HRC), wear resistance and heat resistance increase significantly, while maintaining technological plasticity. The probability of formation of defects during cutting such as piercing, chipping and microcracks is reduced. The tool durability is increased up to 25-50%.
